Thousands are expected to hit the streets of Perth again next year when the city’s biggest fitness fundraising event returns on Sunday 19 May.
Early bird entries for HBF Run for a Reason open early 2024. HBF members save a further 20% on entry fees. Corporate teams are encouraged to enter.
Participants will be able to choose from three distances:
- CommBank 4km
- Specsavers 12km
- Brooks Half Marathon
“HBF Run for a Reason has a special place in the hearts of many West Australians,” said HBF Chief Executive Officer Dr Lachlan Henderson.
“Since 2010, $11.3 million has been raised for hundreds of charities, many of which rely on these funds to support their operations.
“Participants raised a record $1.2 million in 2023 alone, when the HBF Run for a Reason returned after a three-year hiatus. It was fantastic to see more than 33,000 people take part this year, from families walking with young kids and babies in prams, through to professional runners. We hope to top those numbers in 2024.”
